Port Kembla Golf Club is the premier Golf Course in the Illawarra Area. Like most clubs across Australia, Port Kembla Golf Club endeavours to give back as much as possible to the local community; however with increased costs this is becoming more difficult each year.

After many requests for assistance from local schools, charities, sporting clubs and community groups the Board of Directors and Management wanted to be able to do more. Although we are not wealthy like many of the larger clubs we do have a great Golf Course and Clubhouse that can generate money for your organisation. That led to the development of CHARITY GOLF

How it works

Contact Port Kembla Golf Club with a date and expected numbers and our staff will book playing times for your group. From there we will assist you with menus, what golf tournament will be most suitable, clubhouse rooms for presentations, pricing options and any specific requirements that you may have. We can also assist with marketing material to assist you in securing as many players as possible and the biggest financial return on the day.

What’s the financial return to your organisation?

The players who are supporting your charity play a round of golf, have lunch and a few drinks at our regular prices. Port Kembla Golf Club would then rebate your charity a percentage of the days revenue.

Depending on the menu and other fundraisng activity you can raise up to the following for one days fundraising

50 Players $1,000
100 Players $2,000
200 Players $4,000

Depending upon your individual needs different menus can be arranged to cater for all budgets and pricing can also be adjusted to generate more money for you per player.

You are also welcome to use our club facilities at the end of the day to announce the day’s results, raffle or auction prizes to raise additional funds. For those who want a real day to remember and keep your supporters happy why not arrange a full dinner in our magnificent function rooms after golf. This will also give supporters that don’t play golf the opportunity to assist your fundraising.
